The HAC2018 is a biennial conference co-organized by ISQua and the Florida International University Board of Trustees, on behalf of the Robert Stempe College of Public Health and Social Work at Florida International University (FIU-SCPH) that will discuss the new challenges in healthcare quality and risk management in Latin America.
The Scientific Committee included ISQua Experts, Dr. Ezequiel Garcia, Teresa Tono and Maria Carolina de Toledo Sivieri Moreno.
The HAC2018 will be hosted in Bogota, Colombia from 1st to 2nd November 2018, and includes speakers from international organizations, Colombia, Chile, Peru and the U.S.A.
This conference is composed of a general conference and four workshops.
The audience for the general conference is limited to 1,000 participants and includes healthcare managers, physicians and other healthcare professionals and students.
The audience for the workshops are limited to 120 participants and includes healthcare administrators from private and public hospitals.
Papers are now being accepted under the below five topics:
1) Accreditation in healthcare facilities.
2) Risk management and patient safety.
3) Quality improvement in chronic illness care.
4) Emergency preparedness in healthcare organizations.
5) Controlling antimicrobial resistance in healthcare facilities.
